The 2010-2011 Music After School year is approaching soon! Please take a moment to look at the policies below, as some of them have changed from last year.
LESSON MATERIALS, MUSIC ACCOMPANIMENT, QUIZZES - AVAILABLE ONLINE!
In an effort to go green, Music After School is now making our acclaimed lesson material and music accompaniment available online! You can access these materials through the Music After School website- and easily download or print any of our materials, so your child can practice from home. We are also happy to introduce our new quizzes designed to help your child apply the music theory they are learning in class. To get started, click "Students" on the navigation bar above!
CLASS SCHEDULES, CLASS SUMMARIES AND MORE - AVAILABLE ONLINE!
In response to parent request, our new website has detailed class summaries updated weekly on our website - www.musicafterschool.org. Just click on “Class Schedules/Updates” on the toolbar and select your school. Everything you need is there!
WE SELL INSTRUMENTS
In response to parent request, Music After School now sells instruments!
Please note: Music After School violin students must purchase a violin through Music After School. Guitar and keyboard students are welcome to buy one of our instruments OR purchase an instrument elsewhere, as long as it adheres to the MAS Instrument guidelines (see website for details.)
INSTRUMENTS CAN BE SOLD BACK.. IF YOU WANT TO.
Don’t want to keep your instrument after classes are over? No worries - we will buy back good condition instruments at our annual end-of-the-year concert, and give you a check on the spot! For buy-back pricing details, visit our FAQ page.
CAPPED CLASSES
You asked for smaller classes - and we listened. Music After School classes are now capped at 20 students to ensure all of our students get all the one-on-one attention they need to excel in our program.
NEW MULTI-LEVEL CURRICULUM TO CHALLENGE ALL OF OUR STUDENTS
We understand that all students learn at different paces, that’s why Music After School’s curriculum is designed with multiple skill levels in mind - from returning students to absolute beginners.
We're sure that these changes will strengthen our program, and make sure your student gets the most out of his/her music lessons! If you have any questions, please visit the FAQ page of our website, or contact us at office@musicafterschool.org.
We look forward to the start of classes!
